finally the ghosts have brought me here to feel
all the loveliness
flows through me so i can get free
believing in myself
light me up
ringing the bell
relieving , keep breathing
stay here get calm and peaceful
drink from the water to get clean
and for benediction
is this real or just a fantasy or dream?
here inside of me
flows through me so i can get free
believing in this yard
makes me strong
when it gets dark
speak to me
the ghosts are rising up
leaving me behind
free from all belief
and when the stars shine upon this yard
halos are falling down like stars
illuminating my way
watch out for the hour before sunrise
darkned might conspiracy ally
keep your faith but be observant
truth is shining through the darkness
come taste my strength
i will be your king
all this holiness is just a part of
one final dream
i will be your god
all this holiness is my supremacy (uprising)
(free your mind
and get your strength
beware of all the holiness)
Fields of harvest
the essence of life has gone
far away but now there is god
come taste the spirits
dancing in the yard
speak to me
the ghosts are rising up
leaving me behind
free from all belief
and when the stars shine upon this yard
halos are falling down like stars
illuminating my way
By the time i'm dreaming, i can hear these voices.
Hold on me and cure me and let me free.
Shine a light and wake me, let the dreams fell off me.
Twisting and urging the shadows are lurking in me.
She was here i feel her, disappeared, i'm feared.
By the night and during daylight she will be around.
I am here beside her persevered spellbound.
Now it's time to let the curtain down to look right in her face.
See right through me cause now is the time to confess
Feel my heart is pounding beating down my drowning.
Hear my cries, that haunt me and warn me to
see my face is morphing, staring right into you.
Blinded, divided, the ghosts are united in me.
What have i becoming now
in this world of gods and true believing?
Where is my redemption now
am I here to save myself from yearning?
You and I together now
we are doomed to stay in this transition
shining like the morning star.
Cure your mind, keep playing leading role,
don't be blind, get ready in control.
Use your gift, look through the wormhole,
feel the shift like echoes from your own soul.
Now that I know that my dreams are the other side of me
I feel relieved and redeemed from the burning owe.
I can feel the change uprising
hear them coming, right behind me
free/flee from the disillusion
fight for my own rebellion
Lend me your ears and let me tell you a tale from the book of life
Don't be afraid get along your way,
take your chance and do never look back
Soon you will be as old as me
and then you will understand
Down in this cave where the sun is not shining
but sorrows are waiting for you
no one will hear you so fly to the stars
and escape from this place and let go
hold on me
and get to the stars
hear them, calling
echoes of the past
I can feel the change uprising
hear them coming, right behind me
fight for the revolution
break down the walls of wisdom
changes will come
the transition is done
in the end i wish that i
have never discovered this place
and if i close my eyes
I see the stars and they fall from grace
lost in space
stars will shine on
don't give up, stay strong
believe me
holy bells are ringing
look down to the yard
falling right apart
come fly with me
prayers are not the key
bleesing the oddites
dream
In the end there is hope
but only for the ones who will obey the ghosts of light.
Those who are illuminated by the fire have the second face
and could be lost in transistion easily.
There must be a place for the outsiders, somewhere beyond the echoes from the void.
about
The core of this chapter is the transformation that Oddward experiences and the split in his identity that is inherent in this process. This aspect is supported on the one hand by the different characteristics / interpretations of religiosity in archaic and modern and at the same time through the sexual transformation that Oddward experiences when he discovers his feminine side in him in Anima. Also the two other people, those he meets in his dungeon (“Rebellion”) and which later suddenly disappear again, point to the other personalities (the older Oddward from “Pale Aurora” and “Aurora”). Oddward is branded as an outsider and as a “freak” by the community. The networked, spiritual generation of energy within the “holy garden” again shows the parallels to the modern way of life in “Cloud Platoon”, so that Oddward realizes that it is neither for the modern, material nor for the ancient, spiritual world is created. The search for his meaning in life therefore continues
From a purely musical point of view, “Spiritual Transition” is, on the one hand, a continuation of the more complex song structures of “The Modernist”. Even if the classical instruments have remained essentially the same, the fourth chapter contains significantly more complementary instruments such as the various drums or the Sitar. Furthermore, more experiments were carried out with sound effects and samples, which resulted in an even denser atmosphere overall.
That was important insofar as this was the first time that the complete story was set before the composing phase and therefore the music was fully based on the storyline. As a result, the music gains the character of a soundtrack even more than before, even if the songs can still stand for themselves.
The recordings as well as the mixing were again done entirely on our own, with the help of new, technical skills, the overall sound quality could be improved again. The singing in particular experienced a new depth and presence through this procedure, which allows the individual vocal lines to come into their own. Unlike before, this time the songs were recorded and mixed with a time delay, each time after completion, so that when the last song (“Rebellion”) was completed in autumn 2021, only this had to be recorded and refined.
